Haley Ressl is a mixed-media abstract painter based in Austin, Texas.
With a background in visual arts and product design, Haley employs layered washes of acrylic and inks, along with other media, as an evolving study in arrangements of movements, rhythms, and stimuli. By mixing various acrylics with water, she is able to create unique compositions with a vivid and raw quality. Haley often enjoys experimenting with new techniques and constantly evolving her painting practice.
Her work draws from a deep yearning to create aesthetically beautiful paintings that enhance interior spaces. She finds inspiration in the tranquility of nature, modern and minimalist interior design and architecture, and the beautiful and organic color palettes those contain.
